Weight and height for age
The two check-up indicators, each with its own curve. The points are real measurements, not interpolated values.
- Weight for age
- Length or height for age
- Z-score and percentile at every point
- Percentile label, in words
In a paediatric practice, two questions come up at every consultation: where the child sits on the growth curve, and which vaccine is next. Both can be answered from data you already have — if someone calculates them. Zarina CRM keeps every child’s measurements, calculates the Z-score and percentile on WHO references, draws the curve, and shows the vaccination schedule with the doses given, those coming up and those overdue. It is installed on the clinic’s own server, with a lifetime licence.

The steps you take anyway at a check-up, except each one leaves a calculated result, not a figure written on a card.
Date of birth and sex, once. From them, the age in months at every visit is worked out, so you no longer calculate it.
Weight, height or length, head circumference. Recorded with the date of measurement, not the date of entry.
The application looks up the reference values for the child’s age and sex and calculates the Z-score and percentile.
The point goes onto the child’s chart. You see the trajectory, not just today’s value.
The vaccine given is ticked on the child’s schedule, with batch and date, and leaves the overdue list.
The schedule shows what comes next and when. The appointment is booked from the same record.
The application does not draw an approximate curve. It looks up the reference values for the exact age in months and the child’s sex, then calculates the Z-score and percentile from them.
The two check-up indicators, each with its own curve. The points are real measurements, not interpolated values.
The indicator parents ask about most often in infants, and the one most easily lost on a paper card.
Calculated from weight and height, relative to age, with the same Z-score and percentile logic.
The schedule is configured with the age of administration for each dose — set up during implementation to the UAE National Immunisation Programme or your own scheme. From the child’s date of birth, each due date is worked out automatically.
Linking the schedule and stock is the only way records stay accurate without extra work.
When you tick the dose, the stock issue is recorded by the same action. Nobody has to go through the stock module a second time.
Stock is kept by batch, with expiry date, because with vaccines the batch matters more than the total quantity.
Requirements are judged on the clinic’s real consumption, not on a fixed minimum written once and forgotten.
For software that touches a child’s health, limits must be stated as clearly as features.
The paediatrics profile sits on top of the complete Medical edition; it is not a separate, smaller application.
Calendar per doctor and per room, with different durations for check-ups and acute consultations.
Consultations, documents, referrals and results, in a single history that is not lost when the year changes.
Access with their own account to appointments, published documents and the child’s vaccination schedule.
The invoice for a consultation or a monitoring package, with payments and outstanding amounts up to date.
Parental consent, vaccination consent and their records, linked to the child’s record.
Certificates for nursery or school, the vaccination record and activity reports, generated from the data.
The things we would rather you hear from us, not after signing the contract.
These are not hypotheses: they are the reasons paediatric practices come to us.
The scales give a figure, then someone looks for an online calculator, enters the age roughly and writes the percentile on the card. At the next visit, nobody knows how it was calculated.
The Z-score and percentile come from the same references every time, on the exact age in months.
The child missed a booster, comes back four months later for something else, and nobody notices a dose was never given. It is discovered at the next check-up or later.
Doses past their age appear in the overdue list, not in the middle of the record.
The chart in the health booklet is filled in with a pen at the visit. The trajectory is hard to read, and if a page gets wet or lost, the history disappears.
The curve is drawn from saved measurements and can be printed at any time.
You pay once for the licence. There is no per-user cost and no monthly fee to keep using the application.
We install the application on your server and configure the paediatrics profile, with the indicators and vaccination schedule.
We go through the delivered schedule together, compare it with what you apply in the clinic and adjust it before the first working day.
A working session with doctors and nurses, on test children, with measurements and doses entered together.
Paediatric and family medicine practices with many children on their lists, that do check-ups and vaccinations and want curves calculated, not drawn.
Clinics with several doctors, where the child’s record must look the same to whoever sees them and where vaccine stock must be accurate.
Anyone looking for a paediatric dosage calculator, automatic integration with national registries, or an app paid monthly and abandoned without consequences.
A child’s data is a minor’s medical data. The question comes first and the answer is short.
The World Health Organization reference tables, delivered as a data set with the application. For the exact age in months and the child’s sex, the application takes the reference values and calculates the Z-score and percentile from them.
Weight for age, length or height for age, head circumference for age and body mass index for age. Each has its own curve, and every point has its Z-score and percentile.
No. It is the result of a calculation on reference tables. The application shows the value and percentile; whether a child is growing as they should is a clinical judgement, not an arithmetic one.
It is configured during implementation, with the age of administration for each dose, to the UAE National Immunisation Programme or your own scheme. Because programmes change, the schedule stays editable, and checking it against current rules is the clinic’s responsibility.
From the child’s date of birth and the age set for that dose. There is no fixed list of dates that is the same for every patient.
Yes. The schedule can be changed, with your own doses, labels and ages, without code changes.
Yes. Ticking the dose also records the stock issue, on the batch used, so there is no second entry in the stock module.
Yes, if you activate the portal: appointments, published documents and doses given. The official document remains the one you issue.
Yes, and it is one of the most frequent uses: the curves and schedule are used for the children on your list, and the rest of the record remains the Medical edition’s, for adult patients.
